What Kind of Pilot Buys an S-TEC? THE RACING PILOT 
Air Race Pilot Charlie Horton and his Co-Pilot Jaime Gonzales with Commanche 400 N8465P. Charlie recently won the Sun 60 race at Sun N Fun '98 with a speed of 194 mph for the 60 mile course. In a recent, longer race, Charlie averaged 255 mph. Not bad for a normally aspirated single! His cross-country "co-pilot" is an S-TEC 50.
