We Get Letters
Sam Dunnam of Corpus Christi mailed in this letter concerning his System Thirty ALT. Ten years ago my wife and I bought a used Cessna 182 with a Cessna 300 autopilot. Our instructor wanted us to fly a lot by hand to gain experience. When we finally got around to using it we found that on a trip from Corpus Christi to Dallas that autopilot would keep us approximately within the state of Texas. Last year we installed an S-TEC System Thirty ALT altitude hold in the airplane. We hoped it would keep us within 200 feet or so of where we wanted to be. Wonder of wonders it appears to be accurate to about 10 feet. This is a marvelous device as I suppose you already know. We want you to know how extremely happy we are with your fine product. As soon as the Clinton stock market calms down and we get some money ahead we are going to scrap the Cessna autopilot and install one of yours. We are really sold on your company and its products.
