Sales TipOptional Yoke Mounted Controls by Dennis Tolleson, Manager, Dealer Sales There has been some confusion caused by the pictures in our System Twenty/Thirty brochure. In the brochure, we show several buttons on the top of the control yoke. The System Thirty utilizes a remote On/Off switch to activate the Altitude Hold function. This is most often mounted on the control yoke. Other functional controls which can be mounted on the control yoke are the Mode Selector and Autopilot Disconnect switches. These switches are included as standard equipment in the installation kit for these autopilots. However, with the exception of the Altitude Hold button, the installation of these switches is optional at the buyers discretion. Please be sure to call this to the attention of your buyers. |
