We are pleased to announce the new System Fifty Five X Autopilot. The System Fifty Five X offers the pilot performance improvements for our most capable autopilot system. As you read through the newsletter, you will see that the System Fifty Five X has a lot to offer. A few of the system highlights are a new display for greater contrast and improved readability, and integrated GPSS or GPS Steering by S-TEC. We are extremely excited about the new autopilot since it is a result of feedback you gave us on our products.

As everyone is well aware of by now, in April of 1999 Meggitt Avionics acquired S-TEC. As part of this acquisition, S-TEC and Meggitt began the process of integrating sales and marketing functions. As the MAGIC system becomes readily available for after-market sales, you will begin seeing more and more technical articles relating to the MAGIC product line. MAGIC dealers can now log on to a secured area on Meggitt's website at www.meggittavi.com to view installation manuals for the EFIS and EIDS systems. You will need to get a User ID and password for access.

Be sure to look out for your new Autopilot Selection Guides and Price List to be arriving soon. Small price increases have been made for the first time in over four years, and the System Fifty Five X was added to the list of existing autopilots.
