What Kind Of Pilot Buys An S-TEC?

F6D Wes Stricker's North American F6D

A pilot that knows and loves airplanes, aviation, and loves to fly. A pilot that appreciates performance, high quality and reliability in both the airplanes he flies and the avionics he depends upon.

A pilot like Dr. Wes Stricker. Dr. Stricker operates a medical research company in Missouri as his vocation, while his avocation is airplanes and flying. He serves on the Board of the Kalamazoo Aviation History Museum, a museum which focuses on World War II aircraft.

Wes has 6,500 Hrs. TT and holds an ATP as well as Type Ratings in the Citation, Lear and the Grumman S2F.

S-TEC is currently involved in completing an STC for a System 65 in Wes' North American F6D, the high altitude armed reconnaissance variant of the P51 Mustang.

Other airplanes in Wes' stable include a J3 Cub, a 172RG, a King Air F90-1, a Citation 500, a Lear 24D, a Piaggio Avanti P-180, a Grumman TBM-3E Avenger, and a Grumman Goose.
