It was truly an honor for me to accept the AEA's "Associate Member of the Year" award on behalf of all 750 S-TEC dealers and the 125 S-TEC employees in Mineral Wells. Since S-TEC was chosen by a vote of all the AEA dealers, the award is especially meaningful to all of us.
With the publication of this, the third issue of The S-TEC Approach, we are pleased to hear that we are accomplishing our goal of bringing you helpful information for your daily business. More importantly, we can report that the newsletters, The S-TEC Approach and The S-TEC Pilot, are actually helping sell S-TEC systems. We have been told that at least 5 system upgrades have been sold as a result of the "Upgrade" column in The S-TEC Pilot. We like to hear that our efforts are bearing fruit, so "keep the cards and letters coming".
Special thanks go to Bob Riggs of Megahertz Avionics in Bakersfield, California for his contribution to the Installation Secrets column in this issue. As I've mentioned several times in the past, this is your newsletter and we know that tips on installation and maintenance from you and your associates are of significant value to other dealers and their personnel. If you have an idea or two, give us a call.

A dealer in the northwest is already doing this and we see it as an excellent way to provide first hand information to your potential customers about your representation of S-TEC.
To update the March 1996 feature article on our new facilities, we are looking forward to moving in approximately September 1st, 1996. The benefits we'll gain once we are in the new building are even more significant than we originally anticipated. I'll keep you posted.
